The Senior Unit

We are back into it and students have done well on their first inquiry assignment this term. As this week continues we will be delving into harnessing energy.  Also as a continuation on out Civics and Citizenship, we will be looking into the running of our own student parliament. Here are some other quick classroom reminders: Unifrom Reminder Sports Uniform is now Monday, Thursday and Friday. Formal Uniform is Tuesday and Wednesday. Spelling This week is List 20 (Something to keep an eye out for: Some students are cutting corners on the expected spelling content to be worked on each week.) This weeks task is below. Create a mini documentary/oral information report on an energy in nature. Include type of energy, an explanation of the natural phenomenon, the effects of the natural phenomenon on the Earth and people and any other thinking you have had. Have a great week! Whole School Info Welcome back to term 3.  We hope everyone is refreshed after a 3 week break   Building works The new upper primary building works (called the CU2 program) has now commenced.  There will be workman and their vehicles onsite daily.  Therefore areas around the work site have been barricaded off to all staff and students.    These changes include: The senior unit building entrance is only via the door next to water fountain St
