The Senior Unit

As we make our way into the final week of Term 3, students are looking forward to a couple weeks off after a very busy term. Hear some intel into what is going on right now: Exhibition Students are at a stage of the process where they are asking their own questions and are beginning to look at researching. As the week progresses we hope that students begin to make contact with people and organisations to gain primary information to bolster their research.  Please keep the evening of November 8 free. We will be presenting our Exhibition that evening. More information will come out at the start of next term. Summer Uniforms As students start to wear their formal summer uniforms, can we please make sure that sizes fit and hem lines are at an appropriate length.  Lion King Excursion We look forward to this experience and hope the students find entertaining. Welcome to Week 9,  We have a big week ahead of us with exhibition in full swing and sports day on Friday!  Today your child found out their exhibition groups. We want to ensure parents that these groups are a base and students will do their own individual research and be assessed individually. The announcement of the groups may be a stress for some students, and this reminder may help them in understanding if it is spoken about at home.  SPORTS DAY REMINDERS  Friday 22 September 9am to 2pm ·           Venue :   Gawler Sport and Community Centre ·           Arrival :  Students are to arrive  between 8.30am to 9am . ·           Conclusion:   The day will  finish at 2pm .  Students can go home early with their parent(s) ·           Bus :   If your child needs the school bus from school to the venue in the morning or the school bus from the venue back to school at the end of the day please ensure you have responded to the e-form advising such.   ·           What to wear :   Sports Team co

Lights, camera, concert! This week is all about concert and when Mr Hueppauff gives us a spare moment, we will be working on the initial planning of Exhibition. Here is all the other news for the school beyond our classroom walls… Term 3 Week  8  Whole School Update…   School Concert- Upper Primary (4, 5 & 6) Its concert week!   Matinee performance  Thursday 14 September 1:30pm Evening performance  Thursday 14 September 6:30pm Dress rehearsal  on Tuesday 12 September 11.40-1.40pm Students in Fn,1, 2 & 3 will be watching the Matinee performance  Most year 4,5,6 families have now replied to the invitation via Operoo and reserved their seats.   There are still seats remaining for the matinee so we welcome parents from Fn, Yr 1, 2, 3 to attend.    There are only a few more seats remaining for the evening performance.  If you need more seats for your family contact the school office before end of day Weds. Students need to arrive by  6.15pm  for the Evening Concert  Year 4's wil
