1901 is a year of great importance to Australia. Write in 100 words why this is so. In responding to this question, we will be looking for some key words. The words we want to see in your writing are Federation and Constitution. (You will need to do some research for this) Post your 100-word response on Teams.

Take a photo of your lunch. What does your lunch express about your own personal culture? It could be country related, society related, moment in time related etc.
Post your photo and your explanation on Seesaw. When you post it, choose the folder labelled UOI – Cultural Expression

Here is are some ideas or questions to guide your response:

Where did the (sandwich) originate from?  
Is there a reason why sandwiches are used in lunch boxes so often?
Do the contents of my lunch box represent my family in any way?
Does my lunch include healthy options? (why or why not)
Is my lunch what I typically eat when I’m at school?
Is my lunch a cost-effective choice?
And anything else you can think of.

Think of a song that describes your day today. On Teams, post the name of the song, the artist and why you chose it. Also put a link to the song if you can. (Please make sure the language is age appropriate) If you want to go the extra mile, you could write down a part of the lyrics that helps explain why you chose that song. Be as creative as you need.
