Wellbeing and Circle Time

Worship and Praise on Friday 20 November starts at 9.30am

  • Mrs Jones / Mrs Manning Foundation class will be presenting

iGOSH

The iGOSH Dec / Jan Holiday program was sent home Friday or can be found here. 

·         Bookings can now be made up until Mon 30 Nov at 10am.

·         iGOSH will be open from Thurs 10 Dec through to Fri 18 Dec 2020; closed for Christmas and New Year; reopens Mon 4 Jan through to Mon 25 Jan 2021

Bookings for 2021 Term 1 can now be made online too.    Term 1 2021 starts Wednesday 27 Jan 2021.

 2021 ICT Information Night for 2021 Yr 3 & Yr 4 parents

  • A Parent information session will be held for current Year 2 and Year 3 students on

     Wednesday 25 November at 7pm, in Taikondi

  • This is to discuss the 1:1 iPad programs for the Year 3 and Year 4 student in 2021. 

Christmas in Coming

  • Friday 4 December at Immanuel on the oval 5pm to 8pm
  • Jumpy castle, face painting, food and drinks, Christmas Carols
  • A Family event organised by Gawler Lutheran Church and Immanuel School.  All welcome
  • A pre booking system for food and drinks will be sent home this week

End of 2020 Year Arrangements

  • Semester 2 reports will be sent home in week 8, along with class lists for 2021.
  • Move up day will be held on Monday 7 December.  Students will meet their 2021 teacher and spend some time in their new classroom.  Bookpacks for 2021 will be sent home too.  
  • Our last school day for 2020 is Wednesday 9 December
  • The End of Year and Graduation Service will be held that day.  However due to Covid regulations still in place at this stage we cannot yet advise if parents will be able to attend
  • Celebration Evening for Yr 6’s will be on the Thursday evening 10 December 
  • iGOSH will start the school holiday program from Thursday 10 December

  • Term 1:   Weds 27 Jan to Fri 9 April
  • Term 2:   Tues 27 April to Fri 25 June

Graduation is a week and a half away, so I pose this question to you… what type of graduation parent do you think you’ll be this year? Monday Memos Week 9 Term 4

Here we are, a couple days left. It would be interesting to know how all the students are feeling. I do know that some can’t wait to move on and some don’t want to leave. As always, many are probably feeling a little bit from column A and column B.  Reports Reports to go out tomorrow.  Pizza Lunch Tomorrow Tomorrow, as a gift to the students, Tayla and I have organised a pizza lunch for students. We hope they enjoy! Graduation Evening Please see your invite for the details of time. The evening will commence with the graduation ceremony and will lead into an evening of enjoying each other’s company one last time as a group.  So that things run smoothly, we ask that you arrive on time. Monday Memos Week 7 Term 4

Creeping closer and closer to the end of the year, but the work doesn’t stop…  Academics   The big ticket item in class right now is responding to the Ted Hughes novel The Iron Man. The Playberry literacy routines will continue through to the end of the year and in maths we are currently playing around with algebra and problem solving.  End of Year Guff As a part of the student graduation, we are after a photo of each child from when they commenced school (Foundation). If your child commenced at a different school, we would love it if you could email us a digital copy so we can add it to the presentation.  For the graduation evening, it is expected that students are wearing formal summer uniform.
