Monday Memos Week 8 Term 4

Last full week of primary school. Strangely, so far fewer tears then expected. We will do our best to follow this up.

Here’s some things that need attention this week:

iPads 

iPads need handing up tomorrow so they can be cleared. This means tonight is the last night to upload/download any work or photos students are wishing to hang on to.

iPad forms also need returning ASAP. Some students a second paper copy today.

Graduation and Celebration Evening

Please RSVP as soon as you can by using the booking code found on the official invite that was emailed out earlier. Some students also received paper copies of this tonight.

Students are required to be in formal uniform for this evening so now is a good time to just check the uniform is appropriate. This includes black shoes and correct socks. If you need assistance for your child to be in correct uniform for that evening, let us know and the school will support you.

Signing Stuff

The Carer’s group have kindly purchased the gift of a graduation bear for each student for the purposes of signing. Students will receive these bears as a part of the graduation evening. We ask that students don’t bring things in to be signed during normal school hours and wait for the graduate evening to collect autographs of the many celebrities who will be present.

Library Books

All books must be returned ASAP.

Graduation is a week and a half away, so I pose this question to you… what type of graduation parent do you think you’ll be this year? Monday Memos Week 9 Term 4

Here we are, a couple days left. It would be interesting to know how all the students are feeling. I do know that some can’t wait to move on and some don’t want to leave. As always, many are probably feeling a little bit from column A and column B.  Reports Reports to go out tomorrow.  Pizza Lunch Tomorrow Tomorrow, as a gift to the students, Tayla and I have organised a pizza lunch for students. We hope they enjoy! Graduation Evening Please see your invite for the details of time. The evening will commence with the graduation ceremony and will lead into an evening of enjoying each other’s company one last time as a group.  So that things run smoothly, we ask that you arrive on time. Monday Memos Week 7 Term 4

Creeping closer and closer to the end of the year, but the work doesn’t stop…  Academics   The big ticket item in class right now is responding to the Ted Hughes novel The Iron Man. The Playberry literacy routines will continue through to the end of the year and in maths we are currently playing around with algebra and problem solving.  End of Year Guff As a part of the student graduation, we are after a photo of each child from when they commenced school (Foundation). If your child commenced at a different school, we would love it if you could email us a digital copy so we can add it to the presentation.  For the graduation evening, it is expected that students are wearing formal summer uniform.
