Parent Volunteers – Training

We really appreciate parents and caregivers helping at Immanuel, however people who volunteer in a school need to have completed the following:

1.     Attend a Valuing Safe Communities’ (VSC) training session with Daryl Trigg.
We hold these sessions every term, so for term 4 training will be held this week:

Wednesday 1 November 2023 at 2.30pm or at 6.30pm in the school admin building.
Please RSVP via jennyj@ilsg.sa.edu.au

This check needs to be updated every 3 years.  If you have done a face to face session in the past you can redo online.  Please contact Jenny for the link.

2.     A Working with Children Check (WWCC).

This can be obtained by contacting Jenny in the office or applying on line at https://screening.sa.gov.au/

There is no charge if you are volunteering in a school.  This check needs updating every 5 years.
