Week 3 Term 2 Monday Memos

We enjoyed two full classes today and are ecstatic that things are back to normal. We are excited that Stephanie Alexander  Gardening is on tomorrow 9-10 (6E) and 10-11(6S) and K itchen will start on Wednesday 9-10.30 (6E) and 11.40-1.10 (6S) Tomorrow at 2.10 - 2.40 (6S) and 2.30- 3.00 (6E) ,  we are planning to go on a local excursion to the area known as Taikondi,the place where the rivers meet, to delve into a nature observation to support our Christian Studies unit about how Australians express spirituality. Anyone who is interested to join us is welcome to attend. Let us know by emailing your child's teacher. We are almost back to full onsite classes, today having a 93% student attendance rate. Monday Memos Week 8 Term 4

Last full week of primary school. Strangely, so far fewer tears then expected. We will do our best to follow this up. Here’s some things that need attention this week: iPads   iPads need handing up tomorrow so they can be cleared. This means tonight is the last night to upload/download any work or photos students are wishing to hang on to. iPad forms also need returning ASAP. Some students a second paper copy today. Graduation and Celebration Evening Please RSVP as soon as you can by using the booking code found on the official invite that was emailed out earlier. Some students also received paper copies of this tonight. Students are required to be in formal uniform for this evening so now is a good time to just check the uniform is appropriate. This includes black shoes and correct socks. If you need assistance for your child to be in correct uniform for that evening, let us know and the school will support you. Monday Memos Week 5 Term 3

Welcome to a new week and happy science week. This week we are spending some time looking at science with  a marine focus. This morning, we were able to watch a virtual performance from the Marine Team. They highlighted: Ocean Sustainability Oceans impact on our planet Solutions that generate healthy oceans Embracing innovative ocean technology Speaking of Science-  We would like students to do a household audit of all the items at home that use power. They may need a hand with this. The aim of this task is to actively be aware of the amount of appliances/items that we have in a household and how often we use them. The aim is to have the audit completed by Wednesday so that we can discuss and reflect on our results. Literacy -  Students have been encourage to bring in a picture book for a reading task. If they haven't brought one in or keep leaving the book behind, can you remind them to bring it to school. (Some students are using books found at school) Whole School Info...
