The Senior Unit

  Homework -Due to Sports Day on Friday, there is  no spelling homework this week .  Students may like to work on their inquiry for Exhibition in place of time spent for spelling words.  1000 Mathletics points and reading 20 minutes for interest are also expected. Camp - Port Vincent Aquatics We are looking forward to camp Day 1- Monday- Wednesday,  Week 1 of Term 4.  There are a few forms that will be sent home this week.  They are an Aquatics consent form and a what to bring list.   Excursion - The Sound of Music Students will be attending The Sound Of Music at the Shedley Theatre this Wednesday 9am- 11am. We require one volunteer to join us. If you have a current WWCC and VSC we would appreciate your help.   Sausage sizzle orders-   Students orders are limited to  one sausage in bread each for $2, through the class message box, by Wednesday,  if they would like a sausage at Sports Day. In a week we nationally pay respect to the queen, we also continue our preparations for Exhibition and we get slimed. Here’s some info we need you to know… Camp - Port Vincent Aquatics You should of received an email from Operoo regarding camp. We need to know numbers asap so that we can calculate final costs and staffing. Please respond as soon as possible to the email. The camp is an aquatics camp held at Port Vincent on the Yorke Peninsula. It is set for Week 1 Term 4 from the Monday to the Wednesday. Excursion - The Sound of Music Also sent on Operoo was an email for consent to go to the performance of The Sound of Music at the Shedley Theatre. The excursion takes place during school hours so students will arrive and depart for the day as usual. Third last week of the term and still plenty to do. We continue to power on and keep fighting the good fight. Uniform Checks There has been an increase in students not wearing the appropriate uniform as the year has progressed and it needs addressing. Other than a few students not wearing the correct uniforms on the correct days, the main culprits are hair ties, earrings, socks, appropriate shoes and wearing bracelets/anklets. Please help your child maintain the correct uniform and if there is a plausible reason for not being in uniform, a note signed by the parent is needed.
