Monday Memos Week 7 Term 3

Students are gearing up for concert, please make sure costumes are ready to go by this a Friday. If you are unsure what to wear, please check the previous blogs. Here are some other bits and bobs to know as well…

Exhibition

Students begin the journey this week. We will be setting time aside to look into issues that are global and local and considering areas of interest. Tomorrow we plan to go out for a little local explore to see issues and solutions to Sharing the Planet concerns in our community. This will include a short bus trip around Gawler and a little bit of walking. Due to the physical aspect of this, sports uniform can be worn tomorrow.

Uniform

It has been pretty good, but it is time for a reminder about wearing correct socks (be it grey or white) they are to be plain with no emblems or logos visible. Jewellery in terms of earrings is just plain simple studs or sleepers of silver or gold colour. If a necklace is to be worn, it is a simple chain with a cross. Watches can be worn (but this does not include smart watches with messaging capabilities). Outside of these things, jewellery is not to be worn unless stated as a learning requirement on an ILP.

Bebras Challenge

To give you a taste of what students were involved in today, here is an example question:
