Monday Memos Week 1 Term 4
Welcome back to the final Term for the year 2023. A couple big events in the pipeline with Graduation and Exhibition with the latter being right on our doorstep.
Things to be aware of for Exhibition:
- Students may need to be encouraged to do some work for homework to aid their progress
- Students are a part of a group but have their own questions to research and present
- We have an Exhibition Evening on the 8th of November, please keep it free as a night to enjoy. (Sausage sizzle and drinks will be available that evening.)
- During the Exhibition Evening, students will present their findings and research you the school community.
Term 4 Week 1 Whole School Update…
- Welcome to term 4. We hope you had a wonderful holiday break.
Term 4 is a 9 week term and concludes Wednesday 13 December.
2024 Class Placements
- At this time each year we ask for any input from families around class placement for 2024

Summer Uniform is to be worn from Term 4.
- This refers to the formal uniform for students in Yr 4-6; Summer Dress or Navy Skorts & Blouse for girls and Grey Shorts & Short Sleeve Shirt for boys.
- Some students have been wearing non-uniform sports items to school. Please purchase all sports shorts and trackpants via the uniform shop.
- HATS are required to be worn in Term 4 (no hat, no play). New hats can be purchased from the front office @ $13 each.

Worship and Praise
- W&P this Friday 20 October starting at 10.30am and will be led by Mrs Eckermann (Year 4 teacher)
- Parents and friends are welcome to join us.
- Gawler Lutheran Church volunteers will offer “Coffee B4 Worship & Praise”from 9.45am in Taikondi

October Vac Care
· Thanks for a wonderful Vac Care. We hope the children enjoyed their days
· We have our Vac Care Questions of the week on our front desk, so please answer them over this week. This feedback helps with planning for future vac cares
· We have some lost property, so please check this if you are missing anything
Reminders about bookings
· You can only book Permanent Bookings on the App. These are bookings made 2 days (48 hours) before the required session.
· Casual Bookings are bookings made with less than 2 days (48 hours) notice. These casual bookings can only be made by contacting the service. Please ring / email or text Katrina.
· Bookings made through the App automatically link with the Electronic Sign in
· Casual Bookings will still be recorded on paper copy. Students cannot just turn up as bookings and staff ratio are capped.
· Cancellations can be made up to 12 hours before the session for no charge to apply. This needs to be made through the App.
· Cancellations with less than 12 hours notice are charged at the full rate. Please cancel by email, ring or text Katrina.
Invoices / Bank Details Change
· Our Bank Details changed over a month ago and most families are paying invoices using this new number. We are still receiving payments to the old bank number, which will still be open for another month but can you please check the account details at the top of your invoice and make sure you are paying invoices to that account
