Good luck. 9:00 Check in by going into the Teams app and answering the question that is there. 9:05 Gardening time. If at home, what gardening can you do? Could you weed? Could you mow the lawn? Could you prune or take some cuttings? Maybe even begin making a Bee BnB? Or just explore the garden or indoor plants you have through photos or research? Choice is yours. Week 10 Term 1 Memos

Here or not here this week, we are moving to online learning. The daily task outline will be sent each day via email and posted here on the blog.  Students will be working through Seesaw and Microsoft Teams as their main platforms for their learning activities. They can also use their email to correspond with the teachers. This blog will have regular information, tips and ideas.  Seesaw - each day a selection of activities will be posted for students to complete and work on. Some of these activities may take several days to complete.  Microsoft Teams - on Teams, we are providing a quick real-time option for students to post messages and questions to the teachers and have learning discussions across the Senior Unit. We will be looking for students to make check in comments throughout the day to help keep track and support their learning. One of these may include an online version of a roll call (yet to be decided). Just note that teachers will only be active on Team...

Week 9 Term 1 Memos

Well, as we head deeper into uncharted waters, we hope that you all find ways to stay healthy both physically and mentally. Here are the key points we have for you from Year 6.  Please keep an eye on the blog as we may at times post different ideas and thoughts to help out over this tricky period as well as try to keep students and parents updated with the learning activities we set. Canberra Camp   -  While our planned trip to Canberra is looking more and more unlikely to go ahead, at this stage we will make a firm decision at the end of term, Thursday the 9th of April and we will communicate with families soon after that. Should it not go ahead at the planned time, we will consider all of the possible alternatives and make some decisions as things unfold. Spelling -  Working on ‘ei’ and ‘ie’ to make the ‘ee’ sound.
