2023 Class Placements

  • If you are not returning to Immanuel in 2023 (other than moving into a secondary school) please be reminded that a terms notice is required.  Please put this in writing to darylt@ilsg.sa.edu.au
  • At this time each year we ask for any input from families around class placement for 2023.  Generally this input will be around learning needs and information that will help us place students in class groups for maximum success. We ask that families refrain from ‘requesting teachers’ especially as teaching staff can change (due to either leaving our school or changing grades).
  • Parents are asked to provide their input via logging onto www.schoolinterviews.com.au and enter the code 2vbys or click here.   Please provide any information by Friday 28 October (end of this week Term 4 Week 2)

Please be aware that this information is shared with class teachers as we work through the process.

Parent Volunteers

We really appreciate parents and caregivers helping at Immanuel, however people who volunteer in a school need to have completed the following:

1.    Attend a Valuing Safe Communities’ (VSC) training session with Daryl Trigg.
We hold these sessions every term, so for term 4 training will be held on:

Wednesday 2 November 2022 at 2.30pm or at 6.30pm in the school admin building.
Please RSVP via jennyj@ilsg.sa.edu.au

This check needs to be updated every 3 years.  If you have done a face to face session in the past you can redo online.  Please contact Jenny for the link.

2.    A Working with Children Check (WWCC).

This can be obtained by contacting Jenny in the office or applying on line at https://screening.sa.gov.au/

There is no charge if you are volunteering in a school.  This check needs updating every 5 years.

Any person volunteering in a school also needs to provide proof of their Covid vaccinations.

Assemblies / Worship & Praise

  • We will now allow parents / caregivers to attend these events.  However for the time being we ask that you wear a mask when the event is held indoors.
  • Worship & Praise this Friday 28 October at 10.30am in Taikondi will be led by Daryl.
  • Assembly will be held Monday 7 November with the Year 3’s

Volunteers for 2023

Second Hand Uniform Stall

  • We are seeking a new parent volunteer to help open the Second Hand Uniform shop from Term 4 / and into 2023.  Please let the school office know if you are able to help with this.
