Greetings Everyone,
The all important information you will need for Week 1 in the Senior Unit.
Uniform days:
Monday Formal
Tuesday Formal
Wednesday P.E.
Thursday Formal
Friday P.E.
iPads will be handed out on Monday. These need to be charged overnight and brought back Tuesday.
If your child is bringing a mobile phone on Monday morning, it needs to be handed in at the front office before school starts.
When the music goes, students line up adjacent to the admin building with their school bag, which will have their books in it that were given out at the end of last year.
On Wednesday 1 February our year 5 and 6 students will be trained by SAPOL to act as traffic monitors for the Lyndoch Road Crossing. Following this the students will be rostered on to help in the morning / afternoons. An operoo consent form will be sent home next week. Please respond promptly so the roster can be organised. We trust you will allow your child to participate as a monitor because it ensures the safety of all students at Immanuel and that the workload is not left to a limited group of students.
Kitchen starts this Thursday. If you are willing to help, your time will be greatly appreciated.
The times of the sessions are:
9.30 – 11am (German, Chinese,French) and
12.10 - 1.40pm (Polish, Italian, Greek)
Looking forward to seeing you all soon

- Please consider helping so that our school families can cross the busy Lyndoch Road safely
Operoo – Information for new families to Immanuel
- We use an online App called Operoo to manage excursions, camps, consent forms and other events. Operoo is a paperless method of sharing information and parents/caregivers giving their consent. You can read about Operoo by clicking on this link. www.operoo.com/intro-for-parents/
- New families to Immanuel will receive a welcome email from Operoo on Monday or Tuesday. Please follow the instructions and sign in via the website www.Operoo.com to activate your account
- Also it is helpful to download the Operoo APP to your Phone in order to access the Operoo system easily and quickly. Please make sure all of your childs medical details and action plans are up to date as this system is used on school camps and excursions
ICT Acceptable Use Agreement
- In the past at the beginning of each school year every student has been provided with a hardcopy of an ICT Acceptable Use Agreement form which is both read and signed together with a parent/caregiver
- This year’s ICT Agreement form will be emailed out as an Operoo Form in Week 1. We encourage families to complete as soon as possible a separate Agreement form for each child attending Immanuel. In the interim all 2022 enrolled students’ signed ICT Agreements will be considered sufficient
- Keep an eye out for this Operoo Form in your emails
- It’s important to know that the general content in the ICT Acceptable Use Agreement will be part of class discussions around class norms, expectations and routines at the start of this school year
